Broadclyst Theatre Group: Two Fat Men/ Stop And Run

Barely a few weeks after the curtain closed on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I'm already rehearsing for the next exciting production of Broadclyst Theatre Group. This time, however, you're getting two one-act plays for the price of one - and a delicious meal to boot!
This time next month, Broadclyst Victory Hall will play host to two very different comedy-dramas. Two Fat Men follows Duncan and George, two overweight, middle-aged men forced to attend Weight Busters by their wives. Surrounded by women and waiting to be weighed, they discover that they may have met before. Stop and Run, by contrast, follows lonely pensioner Eileen, who finds love at a holiday camp bingo hall, much to the horror of her family.
I'm playing Duncan in Two Fat Men, and have already had a lot of fun getting to grips with an interesting and subtle character. If you enjoyed my appearance in Snow White, prepare for something a lot more understate (and with a lot less Yorkshire in it). In any case, you're in for an evening of fine drama, fine food and hopefully good company; the plays are being presented cabaret-style, allowing you to mingle and chat between the shows.
