LETTERS OF NOTE: A Little More Mark Twain

Around this time last year, I shared a Letter of Note written by Mark Twain to his 3-year-old daughter, in which he pretend to be Father Christmas. This year, Shaun Usher's site has offered us something just as sweet - a love letter from Twain to his wife.
On November 27th 1875, Olivia Twain celebrated her 30th birthday. By this time she and Mark had been married for 6 years, and her husband used the occasion to pen her a loving letter, saying how happy she had made him thus far and how much he was looking forward to their future together. They would be married for another 29 years until her death in 1904.

You can read the letter in its entirety here. If you want to read Twain's letter from Santa to his daughter, it can be found here. Also, don't forget to check out this month's Blog Spot, which is devoted to Letters of Note and can be found here. Now, with just over a week 'til Christmas, I best get back to wrapping those presents...
